Guildoak was formed in 2015 to acquire existing residential properties with development potential. It is a privately owned company with over 50 years of combined experience in the property and development industry.

Guildoak now specialises in identifying development opportunities of a greenfield and brownfield nature, securing planning permissions and maximising the landowners development potential.

We offer a bespoke approach to property investment, land promotion, development and consultancy services across Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
About us
ANDREW FARQUHAR
Raised in West Sussex and educated in Surrey Andrew has been involved in property from a very young age. After studying Business Management in Bristol Andrew went on to a study for a masters in Real Estate Management.
Andrew subsequently worked for Berkeley Group and Shanly Group for over 10 years acquiring sites and taking them through the planning system.
Over the last four years Andrew worked as Land Director for a regional SME Housebuilder and was instrumental in re-launching them into the market place with a number of high profile acquisitions and planning consents.
Andrew’s passion for excellence, quality and seeing the job through is what drove the launch of Guildoak.
When not working Andrew spends time with his wife and two children. He has a passion for Classic Cars and is often found coaching on the rugby pitch or spectating when time allows.
Guildoak ensures that it engages with all landowners and community stakeholders on a personal level.
Whilst Guildoak seems a relatively new company its experience is drawn from the two generations who proceeded Andrew with both Andrew’s father and Grandfather being involved in property, development and agricultural land.
This experience coupled with being a smaller business means we are able to construct the considerate individual relationships that larger companies often don’t have time for.
Andrew’s values are embossed throughout Guildoak and ensures the company acts with integrity, passion and creativity when faced with difficult development issues, local authorities, landowners or local stakeholders.

Whilst we have traditionally concentrated working on unlocking and identifying opportunities that can de delivered in the short term we are now looking at sites that have previously been overlooked, or not realised their full potential.
Guildoak is focussed on placemaking and leaving a positive legacy for future generations so rather than just invest our time in achieving planning permissions and converting existing buildings we will now look to build our developments with our trusted construction partners to realise our vision.
